1Minimum 3 years of experience in a security supervisor or similar role, preferably in the IT and telecommunications industry

2Strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment, and incident response procedures

3Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

4Proficient in the use of security management software and monitoring systems

5Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills

Relevant security-related qualifications or certifications, such as a diploma or degree in security management or a related field

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the day-to-day security activities, including staff scheduling, incident response, and access control

Monitor and maintain security systems, such as CCTV, alarms, and access controls, to identify and address any potential security breaches

Liaise with relevant authorities, such as the police and fire department, to ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations


Investigate and document any security incidents, and implement corrective measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future

Provide training and support to the security team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to enhance the overall security posture of the organisation
