Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience in hotel or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems and financial controls
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
- Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Preferred Experience:
- Hotel business experience
- Knowledge of hotel PMS/POS systems (e.g. Opera, Sun, SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Position: Finance & Accounting Manager
Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports to: General Manager
Job Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the hotel to ensure accuracy, compliance, cost control, and financial performance in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
Financial Management:
- Manage and supervise daily accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, Income Audit, and Cashiering
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking transactions
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Analyze variances between actual performance and budget
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Cost Control & Revenue Protection:
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard hotel assets
- Review cost of sales, payroll, and operating expenses
- Work closely with operational departments to improve cost efficiency
Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Prepare and submit tax filings (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax)
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance & accounting team
- Set performance goals and conduct evaluations
- Ensure proper segregation of duties and workflow efficiency
System & Reporting:
- Ensure accuracy of PMS, POS, and accounting system interfaces
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis for decision-making
- Support hotel management with financial data and ad-hoc analysis
